Uncle Tim

“Uncle Tim” is a portrait of a ninety five year old bachelor farmer living alone in rural Ireland. His expression tells a story of a hard and lonely life.
Tim was my neighbour and he allowed me to photograph him in Jan 2008. Tim died on 22nd June R.I.P.

Fantastic image. Full of character and little details (I love the mug and having an open bag of siucra instead of a sugar bowl says a lot about the subject).
